We guarantee you a whale sighting and will give you a rain check if for some reason no whales are found.

  • Camera with lots of film Rainwear (wind protection wear)
  • Sun block
  • Rubber soled shoes
  • Food & Drink (sea air makes you hungry!)

Cancellationss
We reserve the right to cancel. A combination of fog and wind will cause us to cancel a trip, but we only cancel when it is necessary for safety reasons.

We encourage passengers who have reservations to call ahead and check on weather conditions.

While visiting Long Island, take advantage of some of our spectacular local scenery. Less than 4 km from Pirate's Cove is Balancing Rock , part of the columnar basalt formations which line much of the St. Mary's Bay shore. These striking basalt outcrops, formed from molten rock over 200 million years ago have been compared to the Giant's Causeway in Ireland.

Spectacular sunsets such as the one above can be seen from such locations as Boars Head or Bear Cove in Tiverton,  Long Island.
